Fear of rejection makes a lot of guys nervous about asking a girl out for a first date. Some even resort to implying their availability in hopes of making her ask him out, thereby sparing them the defeat of a no. Yet given the social order of things the likelihood of women asking men out is a lot lower than that of her saying yes to his initiative. Rather than resorting to such ineffectual methods you are therefore better off learning how to ask her out with style.

First of all it pays to realize that any activities you invite her to come secondary to the impression she has of you. While it is true that someone who hates sports probably will not fancy a football game, it is not so much how fun or interesting the activity is as how fun or interesting you are that will decide if she is up for it or not. Market yourself accordingly with a playful and flirtatious attitude so as to avoid seeming too serious or boring.

Secondly, while it does not hurt to consider date options in advance, you should take care not to stick to your pre-planned ideas too rigidly. Insert casual questions about her upcoming few days before you ever get to the question and compare her answers to what she has already planned for herself. Modify your plans so as to work around any booked-up times or to take into account anything she says she feels like doing. If she is simply too busy, hold it until next you meet and repeat the procedure then. That way you will avoid a no out of how your date proposal conflicts with her schedule.

There is still a chance of her not being interested. However in considering the above two factors you are taking precautions against the two most likely reasons to why a woman would decline someone a date, thereby boosting your chances considerably.
